A LITTLE WORD TO THE WISE

How to play

Start with 60 seconds. Every new valid word adds 15 seconds. Duplicates and invalid words add no time.

  1. Tap adjacent letters horizontally, vertically or diagonally.
  2. Press the green Submit word button. Submitting clears your selection. Use Clear to start over.
  3. Tap the last tile again to unselect it. Each tile can be used only once per word. Matching letters on different tiles are allowed. Use Clear to reset your selection. Non-neighbor taps are ignored.

Words must be 4–12 letters. Find each word once. Gobble’s QU is one tile and two letters. Other modes use Q alone.

Every extra letter doubles the points, up to 256 for 12 letters.

Chaos: 4×4, every A–Z equally likely.
Gobble: 4×4, shuffled Boggle cubes with one random face each.
Donut: 3×4, two purple middle tiles drawn from AEIOUY. Outside tiles are consonants including Y.

Change modes or Give Up in the menu. The timer keeps running while menus are open. Some random boards have no words at all.
